So Much Fun

Well here we are lots of week into summer and I haven't been the best about writing on here.  We have been so busy here at Ms. Gabby's that I apologize to all my parents for not getting on here sooner.

During the week of June 14th we all went to Vacation Bible School at Antioch Family Worship Center.  The kids had a blast.  Galactic Blast that is.  This was the theme for VBS this year.  The kids all learned so much and had a great time.  They are still talking about it.

Last week we were very busy.  On monday, the school age kids all went to the library and got to check out books and then went to Krispy Kreme Donuts to watch them make donuts and of course sample them too.  Wednesday we went swimming and thursday we went to miniature golf and Eisenhower Splash Park.  The kids all loved that.  I found out when swimming just how daring some of them really are.  They weren't afraid at all.  Kept us on our toes.

This week on Monday I took the kids to the library and then we went to Russell Stover to watch them make candy and get an ice cream cone.  Wednesday we went swimming again and today we went to The Legends to the Disney once a month promotion they have there.  The kids got goodies and got to dance to Disney Channel music and they were read stories and played games.

As you can see we have been extremely busy.  I will be down loading all the pictures I have taken so far and putting them on here very soon.

Summer officially starts Today

Today at 12:30 summer officially starts at Ms. Gabby's.  I know I am excited.
I have lots of fun activities to keep the kids very busy and I'm sure I won't get
much rest either.  We will be going to the park tomorrow for lunch and fun to
kick off this exciting summer.

I know that I haven't posted on here in a very long time but I will do my best
to get on here at least once a week during summer to post pictures for parents.
With that said the following are a few Easter pictures that I took of the little ones.

Valentine's Day Party

Friday, February 12th, Ms. Gabby celebrated Valentine's with a Party for the kids.  We had loads of fun.  We played games, made lots of art projects, read stories and exchanged cards and candy.  We also had lots of treats that the kids brought to share.  Here are some pictures:

What really made my day was when Dalton walked in with a bundle of flowers and yelled Happy Valentine's Day to me....what a sweetie (of course so is his mommy).

A 2009 Christmas Letter I Received From A Parent...

Dear Gabby or “Ms Gabby”

So much takes place in your home and ours on a daily basis that we now see as parents just how fast time really goes.

I do believe it was a year ago September that Dalton started with you. Correct me if I am wrong!

Things that you have done for my son in just ONE year are astonishing! (Here come the tears)

Within first week was he out of his pack n play sleeping with the big kids on a cot. (Tears, he was an instant big boy here)

He knows his:

Shapes

Colors

Numbers

ABC’s

Seasons

A Lunch prayer

A pick up toys song

His manners are outstanding!!! All THANKS to you!!!

MY #1 FAVORITE: YOU POTTY TRAINED HIM!! I did nothing at home on my part because you made it so easy!

He knows Spanish: Counts to Ten, says “Hi, My name is Dalton” in Spanish

His speech is really impressive for a 3 year old (I think and have been told)

He is all about sharing at home

Art/craft projects

The field trips are endless!

Jess is the best Barber ever!

(I am certain I have left out something)

My 2nd FAVORITE:

I know he receives tons of kisses and hugs all day from you and your family.

I  was really nervous when my sister took maternity leave for my niece. It was a hard thing to say goodbye to my sister who had cared for him for so long. It was super tough, but you made the transistion much easier for this FIRST time Mom. Dalton is challenged, taught and loved so much in the Wyatt home! We all know that Moms do their best they know how with their children and I think I have managed at least that. Yet, there is something about taking him to your house every morning and driving away with not a worry in the world. Some parents outside of your daycare don’t get that worry free work day. I have heard their stories.
Thank you Gabby, Jess, Brookie, Alexia and Mason for all you have done and all that you continue to do for our little man!
Merry Christmas

Love Russ, Tracy Austin and Dalton aka Bubba

Nina's 3rd Birthday

On Friday, January 29th, we celebrated Nina's 3rd Birthday.  We had so much fun.  We sang songs, read a birthday book, had delicious cake that Nina's mom prepared for us and a great lunch they provided as well.  Nina received her present from Ms. Gabby and we just had loads of fun.

SNOWY DAYS

We have been so busy since I was last on here...
We had a few snow days with no school so we tried to make lots of fun with it.  The older boys (Mason, Hunter & Xade) used a snowboard on a very small mount of snow to try their sledding abilities.  They had  a blast.

We played lots of inside games and the girls made cakes in the easy bake oven:
