We had a great surprise last week as Hope came back and spent the afternoon with us on Thursday. It has been quite some time since we have seen her and it was so nice to have her here. It happened to be the same day we were celebrating Easton's 3rd birthday and he was so excited. Hope was always his favorite friend to play with. He didn't forget that either as he pushed her on the swing the way he always did before. Here are the kids as they help Easton celebrate with cake and presents.

Last we worked on letters and the seasons of the year. We did a Fall leaf project and discussed why it is called fall. We continued to work on days of the week and abc's with sign language. Most of the little ones have the days down to a T.
This week we will continue letters K-N, shapes and tracing. Along with starting to work on what a clock looks like and the numbers.

Rainy Days

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed being together with family time. We took the kids to our friends houses and they got to ride their dirt bikes and four wheeler. They had lots of fun and it was very relaxing.
So we're off to another rainy week. Once again the rain keeps us from getting to go out and do much. But I will improvise and find things to keep the kids busy inside. We have lots of school work and crafts to do.
We started the week off with the letter Ii and going over the days of the week still and the weather. These little ones are so smart. They have almost conquered the days of the week. We've been reading lots of stories and singing songs.
Here are a couple of pictures of Alexia and Ella as they played Jesse James on the deck last week. They were having so much fun. And it was so cute listening to Alexia try to Ella who Jesse James was.

Now I have to brag about my older daughter. Brooke wore her cheer uniform to school for the first time on friday and she looked so beautiful. Look at this.

So I haven't quite figured out how to rotate the pictures.

Then there's all my kiddos at Bretts game last week. They were so excited to watch their big brother play an awesome game and win 50-13.

My schedule is so busy with four kids in activities. They keep me running every night of the week. But I just have to say that I absolutely love it and wouldn't have it any other way.

What a Week

It has been so quiet in this house. With kids at school and only a few daycare kids here every day now I'm working really hard on teaching. We have been working on writing our ABC's. We started from the beginning using the starfall preschool curriculum. The kids are doing really well but were having a hard time concentrating at first. They were use to summer and having so much fun that getting back to learning takes a little while for them. We have also been going over the ABC's doing sign language so that they can learn what it is like to not hear. They are so cute as they try to put their hands into the letters. We have been over the days of the week and sing a song of them so that the kids have an easier time knowing them. They are doing really good with this.

Dalton is potty trained! Yeah! He made it seem so easy. From the moment his mom brought his big boys he has gone on the toilet with only one or two accidents. He even goes in the bathroom on his own. He was so ready and I am so proud of him.

The weather has been really nice this week. It was suppose to rain most of it but has turned out to be so beautiful. We have been playing outside quite a bit and enjoying the sunshine.

It's football time again. Our family loves this time of year. Even though I run to games and practices every night of the week it is so much fun and excitement. Tonight is another game for Brett in Warrensburg. We will be heading out to that at 5:30. Brooke has her first game to cheer at tomorrow night and Masons first game is on the 12th. I'm looking forward to a great season.

Last week at Bretts game, after the last few seasons of injuries, he made the play of the game and they were able to win 39-28. Look at this forced fumble recovery he made.

I am such a proud mom of all my children including my daycare children.
